WSMV 4: Former Olympian Bill Fauver helps mold next generation at Nashville Skating Academy

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The athletes at Nashville Skating Academy are off and running, chasing Olympic dreams with the help of former Olympian Bill Fauver.

Fauver is a coach at Nashville Skating Academy and brings decades of expertise, along with experience in two Winter Olympics.

He competed in pairs skating for Team USA in the 1976 Innsbruck, Austria Olympics as well as the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia.

Fauver placed 12th with partner Alice Cook in the 1976 Olympics, and finished 10th with partner Lee Ann Miller in the 1984 Olympics.
