Meet Laura
In 2005, our founder Laura Holzman started the Nashville Skating Academy with the dream of crafting a skating program which could provide a place to train for aspiring skaters near Nashville. Having been a professional skater in her earlier career, Laura understood how valuable having a home rink is. Keeping this original vision in mind, over the past 21 years, Laura has made the Nashville Skating Academy a staple of the greater Nashville area. Now boasting over 20+ coaches and locations in Bellevue, Antioch, and Centennial Ice rinks; NSA has one of the largest Learn to Skate programs in the Southeast and is thrilled to provide first-class ice skating instruction to skaters of all skill levels.
What Makes NSA Unique
Olympic Experience
Nashville Skating Academy is lucky to have long-time coach Bill Fauver, an experienced figure skating professional who has attended the world Olympics for pairs figure skating twice, once in 1976 and again in 1984.
Long-Term Relationships
Here at NSA, we are solely dedicated to our skaters’ experience. Our goal is to create long-term relationships between our skaters and their coaches. Strong bonds like the ones that exist at NSA are pivotal for helping our skaters succeed.
